In this reportage i turned back to the past,
searching for what we were and searching for what
is now existing only as geopolitical archaeology.
I followed a trip along old borders’ traces in that frontier strip, an impregnated trip of recent history, of European history. Our history. Even painful.
So painful that today it’s quite impossible to find tangible signs of what it has been.
The truth, that is hidden in certain Berlin areas, where today wild vegetation and dogs are the only life forms, is stronger than the merciful hands that tried to erase it.
